The first picture is a close up of honeybees. Note the color. They are orange, brown/black not yellow/black as a yellow jacket would be.
The second picture is a honeybee swarm, which is a cluster of honeybees hanging onto something such as a branch, fence, bench, or even the ground. If you see this, please call me ASAP. The bees are very docile at this time, but if they take up residence in your house, the job becomes much bigger. I will remove a swarm for free, but there is a cost for removing a swarm that takes up residence in your house or another structure.
The third picture is a hive in a customer’s house. This shows why it is best to call me before the honeybees make their way into your house! At this point it is strongly recommended to remove the comb and bees, not kill them. The comb contains honey and other substances that will ferment and spoil causing serious damage to your house. I've seen houses that had honey leaking down from the ceiling because they thought just killing the honeybees was good enough.
Finally, I have a picture of one of my hives. The queen is in the center of this picture. She is responsible for laying all of the eggs for the hive. It is estimated that she can lay 1,500 - 3,000 eggs per day.
